Monster Mash: Sounds of Terror! 1974

Here's the first of many spooky-kookey Halloween records that I plan on posting here for you to download. 1974's "Sounds of Terror" from Pickwick features eerie tracks like "Be Buried Alive" and "The Victims of the Guillotine", plus "The Monster Mash" and kool artwork!

I've had this album ever since I was a little monster kid, and very Halloween
my mummy used to play this as my sister and I got into our crazy get up's as we prepared for a night of trick-or-treating.

It's brought me years of ghastly nightmares, and if
this will be first time for you,
I hope it does the same.

BOO!

THANKS A MILLION!!!
I had this LP when I was younger and I thought I'd NEVER hear it again! Creepiest thing I ever heard when I was a little punk! I'd sit in my room with my blacklight on a scare the hell out of my cousins with this!
Great memory, Thanks!

Thank you. I am going to enjoy these with my 9 year old niece, just like I did when I was 9.

Getting close to Halloween I was thinking of this album we used to listen to when we were kids. The only line I remembered and could never forget was the man yelling "May the power of Christ compell you!!" It scared the hell out of me especially when we listened to it in a dark room. I searched for this and jumped when I saw the LP cover. I found it!! Many thanks for sharing. Pat

For several years I had been looking for a certain record we had when I was little. I could actually see the cover in my minds eye but was unsuccessful for a long time in finding it. I just remember this playing in the background as we were carving our pumpkins. We actually have family videos where this record is playing in the background. My family has always been BIG into Halloween, decorating the heck out of our yard, dressing up, and now that we are all grown up our Hallwoeen consists of dressing up just to scare the trick or treaters. I downloaded this last year and it made all the difference. We have people that come from all around just to see our house. Thank you so much for posting this and making it available to download. it really brought back lots of wonderful momories!!

I have been trying to find this album all morning!!! It scared the crap out of me when I was a kid. One of the tracks has the sound of bones being crushed that gave me nightmares!

DUDE! Thank you so much. I have thought of my old "Sounds of Terror" album off and on for years. I had even memorized some of the stories, and was surprised how much I remembered!
