Cereal Killers

Here's a sneak-peak for all you trick-or-treater's from our upcoming cartoon monster koffin table full-color and hard bound artbook "Cereal Killers". I've wanted to do something like this for quite sometime and started working on it for the past 2 months or so. I've invitied a jack-o-lantern full of my favorite animators and illustrators from the animation industry, among others who I admire to create monsterous versions of their favorite breakfast cereal mascot's or they can also create their own. This includes; Derek Yaniger who's creating a wrap around cover art, Lili Chin and Eddie Mort of Fwak Animation (creators of Mucha Lucha), Super-Macho's Jorge R. Gutierrez and wife Sandra Equihua, Gabe Swarr, Dan Thompson, Saxton Moore, Bob Rissetto, Lou Romano, Rob Lilly, Chris Reccardi (director on Super Monkey Robot Hyperforce Team Go!), Ridd Sorensen (director of Cartoon Networks Atomic Betty), Pete Oswald, Paul Watling, Kevin Schmid, Pat Paku, Chris Savino, Warren Leonhard, Jay Stephens and Aaron Blecha who's Mucky Blarms pin-up you can see above, plus so many more!

The book is half way done and I hope to have it finished in less than 2 months. In the meantime I'll be posting a lot more cereal box pin-up art!

Hey Von Kreep-

A monsterous "thank you" for featuring Mucky Blarms on your blog!

I can't wait to see the completed book after lurking around and finding some other phantastic Cereal Killer box art out there.

Thanks again!

I'd like to still try and do up a little something for this book if possible.

Very cool idea! I was led this way via Gabe Swarr's blog. Not sure if it is too late, but I would LOVE to get involved with this project! We just had a "cereal box art" theme over at boobyhatched.com last year! Here are some of the cool pieces from that!
